(یوحنا۱:۸-۱۱)زمانی که عیسی در معبد تعلیم می‌داد، فریسیان زنی را که در زمان زنا گرفته بودند آوردند تا او را سنگسار کنند، از عیسی پرسیدند تو در این مورد چه می‌گویی؟ وعیسی گفت هر کس گناهی نکرده اولین سنگ را بزند. این طور بود که هیچ کسی این کار را نکرد و همه سنگهای خود را انداخته از آنجا رفتند و عیسی نیز آن زن را بخشید.
